Neuer Scientific-Use-File der Startkohorte 1 (Neugeborene) veröffentlicht
Für die NEPS-Startkohorte 1 stehen ab sofort die neuen Daten der Version 12.0.0 für wissenschaftliche Analysezwecke zur Verfügung.
Der aktuelle Scientific-Use-File (doi:10.5157/NEPS:SC1:12.0.0) enthält die neu hinzugekommenen Daten aus der zwölften Erhebungswelle der Neugeborenen-Startkohorte des Nationalen Bildungspanels (NEPS). Die Feldzeit reichte von März bis Juli 2023. Die zweiteilige Erhebung bestand aus einem telefonischen Interview (CATI-Remote) mit einer bzw. einem Erziehungsberechtigten und einer nachgelagerten Online-Befragung (CAWI) des Kindes. Alternativ hatten die Kinder die Möglichkeit, einen Papierfragebogen (PAPI) auszufüllen. Eine Kompetenztestung fand in dieser Welle nicht statt.

New Scientific Use File of Starting Cohort 1 (Newborns) released
New data for the NEPS Starting Cohort 1 are now available in version 12.0.0 for scientific use.
The current Scientific Use File (doi:10.5157/NEPS:SC1:12.0.0) contains the newly added data from the twelfth survey wave of the Newborns Starting Cohort of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). The field period ranged from March to July 2023. The two-part survey consisted of a telephone interview (CATI remote) with a parent or guardian and a subsequent online survey (CAWI) with the target child. Alternatively, the children had the option of completing a paper questionnaire (PAPI). Competence testing did not take place in this survey wave.
