Self-reported retirement status / partnership quality

Please describe your problem

I read several papers that used the „self-reported retirement status“ as a treatment variable. However, I cannot find that variable but only plc0232_h which is the receipt of old-age pension and pgstib which is the occupation and contains a generated category for retirement. Does anyone know which variable corresponds to the self-reported retirement status?

Further, I am looking for a variable indiating the partnership quality (not satisfaction with family life).

Can somebod help? Thanks in advance!

Here you can find the variables kal1e01, kal1e02, kal2d01 and kal2d02. This is where the data is most complete. The corresponding variable in PL should be pab0005.
